So I've been a little busy lately and have been trying to work on a new project...  Dresses!!!  It started out as me needing a dress for a wedding and couldn't afford to go out and buy one so I decided to get together with a friend who actually knows how to sew to make my own! Now my imagination is running wild!!!

Here is the inspiration for the dresses I will be designing..

I'm focusing on elegance and affordability.  When the creations are finished the will be posted up in the blog and the shop! the first one should be done this weekend!   yippppeeeee!!!

Spring gear!

So I totally can't wait for this cold chill to go away so I can scrape the spring stuff out of my closet!  Even though it pretty much killed me to do this the BF and I took some pics of the jewelry with some spring-y outfits to help boost my spirits from feeling so horribley sick! A good dress up session usually works.. so I apologize in advance for looking so horrible and for his photo taking skills...

I wanted to take some new pics today with jewelry and spring outfits before I headed to work.. but I won't be able to do either.   This sickness!!  it goes from the kids to me and its been a vicious cycle for the past few weeks...  I swear I'm probly going to get fired for being sick so much :S

Every one is in "Alice" mode and I'm in spring fever mode so I thought I would use some of my vintage teacups for props today.  I have this little obsession with these cups.. I've been collecting them for years and doing absolutely nothing with them!  

These necklaces.. as stated are very simple yet very necessary.  best if worn alone with lace tops and silky trousers or the perfect addition when wearing a few necklaces.  $18

Aritzia!!

so for those of you who know me, know I pretty much rely on Aritzia to keep my closet looking pretty fabulous.  Whether it be those staple tank tops that never seem to die ( I still have one from 2004..) or the amazing trend pieces that always seem to have the right cut and perfect fit even when you don't want them too because your credit card needs a break!  My mac won't allow me to steal pics from their lookbook (or I just haven't figured out how to do it *scratches head) so I'll just post the link for you to enjoy :)
